Planeta Country House in Menfi, immersed in the uncontaminated nature of South Western Sicily, is a place where you can rediscover the sense of home and a warm family welcome.
The Country House pays homage to La Segreta, one of Planeta’s iconic labels, now reimagined with a fresh design. This new look reflects the intimate connection between the winery and nature, telling the story of a modern Sicily committed to sustainability.
Set in the charming countryside of Menfi
The structure has 10 rooms named after 10 flowers mentioned in the volume Acis Hortus Regius created between the end of the 18th and the beginning of the 19th century by Giuseppe Riggio, a botanist pharmacist originally from Acireale, and the painter Emanuele Grasso. It is a very rare example of a picto herbarium that represents with great precision and poetry the floral heritage of the region and that reports many of the floral varieties that still populate the Sicilian landscape today.
