Historical palazzo
Palazzo Planeta, a historic family building, was built in the early 1900s on a project by the architect from Palermo Francesco Paolo Palazzotto. Not only it preserves the stories of the Planeta family, but also tells the secular history of Palermo.
A journey through history
The Second World War bomb, displayed on the facade of the building, testifies the bombing that in 1943 hit much of the city of Palermo, including the family building. During the reconstruction, Grandfather Vito Planeta chose to keep the relic as a severe warning against the horrors of war, so that it would remain in the collective memory.
