Planeta takes part in “What Sicily are we made of?”, the gourmet event by Le Soste di Ulisse
Planeta wines and Chef Angelo Pumilia will be present in Siracusa on October 29th and 30th, 2023, for the event dedicated to the Mediterranean and its flavors.
On October 29th and 30th, at the Hotel Minareto, the event by Le Soste di Ulisse titled “What Sicily are we made of? – Generating encounters between the beauty and culture of the Mediterranean” will take place.
Curated by all the chefs of the Association, a street food event will be set up on the first day, followed by a gourmet dinner on the second day. Chef Angelo Pumilia from La Foresteria will propose the Sultan chickpea croquette of Serra Ferdinandea, harissa, and sesame yogurt for the street food event on Sunday 29th, and Sultan chickpea gnocchetti of Serra Ferdinandea, porcini mushrooms, and black truffle for the Gala dinner on Monday 30th.
During the first day, there will be a dedicated Planeta desk where guests can taste: Allemanda 2022; Terebinto 2022; Cerasuolo 2021; Controdanza 2020.
For the dinner on Monday 30th, paired with Angelo Pumilia’s dish, we will offer our Eruzione 1614 Carricante 2020, and paired with Chef Massimo Mantarro’s dish from Principe Cerami, we will pair our Santa Cecilia 2020.
