The Wines of Castello Solicchiata at La Foresteria

On October 10th, we invite you to celebrate with a wine tasting journey featuring the prestigious Castello Solicchiata wines, a historic estate that, since 2022, Planeta has been partnering with in both production and distribution.

Castello Solicchiata, founded by Baron Felice Spitaleri di Muglia in 1855, was a pioneer of major innovations in Italian winemaking. The Baron transformed the ancient Sicilian estate by planting Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Pinot Noir. Castello Solicchiata is also an elegant manor surrounded by 150 hectares of vineyards, the largest in the world using the Greek bush vine method.

Join us as we pair these exceptional wines with a four-course menu crafted by chef Angelo Pumilia.
